As if the movie Inception isn’t fucking with your brain enough, people came up with a drinking game for it. If understanding all the plot twists of this movie is hard enough when you’re sober, go try to figure it out when you’re getting hammered. Believe me, it’s not going to be easy. Here come the rules:
- A new rule is explained.
- Anyone goes a world “deeper” than the one they are currently in.
- Every time a character wakes up.
- Someone says something is impossible.
- The rules of physics are bent or broken. Drink TWICE if/when a city rolls into itself as if it were a carpet.
- Every time Marion Cotillard is mysterious.
- Every time someone uses the word “inception”.
P.S. To pro-drinkers – also drink whenever you see DiCaprio’s top toy. Cheers!

New Year’s Eve is just around the corner, actually it’s knocking at the door intensively, clinking its bottles and promising new hopes and beginnings. And what a better way to spend last hours of 2014 than to watch a great movie in the company of people that you love and get slightly buzzed while you’re at it 🙂 With that being said, I present to you the New Years edition of Far Behind The Scenes drunkest rubrik – the drinking game! For the sake of holiday mood I chose a great 1980’s classic Ghostbusters 2, I hope you enjoy watching or re-watching it as much as you’ll enjoy drinking to it.
And now for the rules,
All you have to do, is drink whenever:
-We see Vigo’s Painting
-You see ANY painting
-Someone says “Vigo”
-An 80s song starts playing
-You see Slimer
-You see slime
-The word slime or any synonym thereof (goop, ooze, pink stuff, whatever) are mentioned.
-You see an Animal or or any species of animal are mentioned.
-A Ghostbusters gadget is used: (proton packs, traps, slime throwers, PKE meters, whatever)
-Someone picks up or puts down the damn baby.
-Someone says “Ghostbusters”
-We see any of the the Ghostbusters’ Name Tags
-Someone says “scientist” or “scientists”
Far Behind The Scenes wishes you merry holidays and a Happy New Year! If you like what you see, please share and subscribe 🙂
I think it’s about time for this blog to put the “alcoholic” in “cinemaholic” and for me to combine my two greatest passions – drinking and cinema. From now on, I’ll occasionally post movie-based drinking games, that I’ll find most funny and best suitable for gathering with good friends and watching a great motion picture with a proper mood and decent amount of alcohol.
Michael Fassbender – one of the best drinkers in the contemporary cinema world
What’s a movie-based drinking game you might ask? Unless you’ve been homeschooled you most probably have encountered it once or twice in your life when your highschool or college buddies decided to try it just for fun. There is a basic set of rules, some re-occuring scenes or phrases that the characters repeat a lot throught the film and the point to drink every time you see or hear those. The newcomers can start with taking a sips of beer or wine each time, but more experienced drinkers are advised to take shots of fire water 😉
To start this good tradition on my blog, I chose a movie that I adore endlessly, and that is “Reservoir Dogs”.
I hope you’re not gonna have a problem deciding whether to tip a pizza delivery guy when playing this game
Here are the rules for playing a drinking game with this movie:
– Someone says a color
– Someone says “diamonds”
– Someone says “fuck” or any form of the word
– Someone smokes
To spice up the game even more, try the ultimate challenge:
The Ultimate Challenge: Write down all the names of the characters on slips of paper. Pick a name out of a hat. Whenever someone says the name of your character, take three drinks. Whenever your character dies, kill your beer and draw another name from the hat. Take a drink if your character swears, smokes, or drinks.
Have fun and please share and subscribe if you like what you see 🙂
