Movie Drinking Game: Reservoir Dogs

I think it’s about time for this blog to put the “alcoholic” in “cinemaholic” and for me to combine my two greatest passions – drinking and cinema. From now on, I’ll occasionally post movie-based drinking games, that I’ll find most funny and best suitable for gathering with good friends and watching a great motion picture with a proper mood and decent amount of alcohol.

What’s a movie-based drinking game you might ask? Unless you’ve been homeschooled you most probably have encountered it once or twice in your life when your highschool or college buddies decided to try it just for fun. There is a basic set of rules, some re-occuring scenes or phrases that the characters repeat a lot throught the film and the point to drink every time you see or hear those. The newcomers can start with taking a sips of beer or wine each time, but more experienced drinkers are advised to take shots of fire water 😉

To start this good tradition on my blog, I chose a movie that I adore endlessly, and that is “Reservoir Dogs”.

Here are the rules for playing a drinking game with this movie:

– Someone says a color
– Someone says “diamonds”
– Someone says “fuck” or any form of the word
– Someone smokes

To spice up the game even more, try the ultimate challenge:

The Ultimate Challenge: Write down all the names of the characters on slips of paper. Pick a name out of a hat. Whenever someone says the name of your character, take three drinks. Whenever your character dies, kill your beer and draw another name from the hat. Take a drink if your character swears, smokes, or drinks.

Have fun and please share and subscribe if you like what you see 🙂
